gettin' closer...

so another weekend has come and gone and now we are that much closer to the big day.
we haven't been told who the family is that we're going to be building the house for yet, but that will come shortly. right now we are working to keep our team strong on such a tight deadline. we're all working individually to get our airline tickets as group discounts weren't as cheap as we had hoped. so, we'll have a little bit of a logistical challenge when we all get there on seperate flights before meeting up at the Eastlake church in San Diego. that's where we'll meet up with the YWAM shuttle to TJ (tijuana). we'll have more on that later....now we are working hard on getting the word out for fundraising. tomorrow we will be posting specifics on how much we need to raise in 2 weeks time, its pretty exciting stuff.
we've got a couple of nights planned at the Canyons restaurants in bothell and redmond for next monday and wednesday. we'll post the flyers here tomorrow morning and please send them to your friends. in addition to this great opportunity at Canyons, we're also going to have a couple of folks try to walk around Lake Washington next Saturday. We're asking for pledges for each mile, with a bonus carrot if at least one of us makes it all the way around in one day.....55 miles!!!!
