Hi everyone,
It is 10:25 on Friday night and Greg is sleeping right now. He and Andrew and a friend of Andrew's will be starting their walk at 4am in Kirkland town center. They have their water bottles, headlamps, bright orange reflective vests, their backpacks filled with protien bars, their shoes and socks, and their layers of miscellaneous gear ready to go. They will be joined by two other teammates later in the day, Ryan and Katie Kivett and I think Greg told me that there will be a few others dropping in along the way.
As they get underway, I would like to ask that you keep them all in your thoughts and prayers throughout this fantastically awesome trek through the concrete jungles surrounding the beautiful Lake Washington. They are looking at highs in the 50's and a beautiful partly cloudy day, so please keep that in your prayers as well. We will be meeting the team continuously throughout the day with food, water, and moral support and will continue to keep everyone updated right here on the blog. There will be pictures and progress posted as well, so keep watching!
